  • 1 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 16.9 ounce bag mini M&Ms (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one by one and mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until combined. Fold in mini chocolate chips and half of the mini M&Ms.
  4. Shape tiny balls of dough and press each into remaining M&Ms. Place on prepared baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until lightly golden on the bottoms. Let cool before transferring to wire racks.
