Ingredients
Scale
½ cup peanut oil
4 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons fresh garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon onion powder
4 salmon fillets (about 8 oz each)
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine peanut oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and onion powder for the marinade. Mix well until the brown sugar dissolves.
Place the salmon fillets in a nonporous glass dish in a single layer and pour the marinade over them. Ensure they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Preheat your grill to high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking and place the salmon skin-side down on the grill.
Grill for 5-7 minutes per side or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
