  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 apple (peeled and diced into small chunks)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9 baking pan with nonstick spray.
  2. For the crumb topping, mix flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly; set aside.
