  • 10 oz mini vegan marshmallows (about 4 cups)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add mini vegan marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and mix in molasses, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves, and optional vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Krispies cereal in a large mixing bowl, folding gently until all pieces are coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and press down firmly to create an even layer.
  5. Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
