Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons non-alcoholic broth
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 45 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, non-alcoholic broth, oil, Dijon mustard, and crushed garlic. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Place the flank steak in a 9 x 13 pan and pour the marinade over it. Turn the steak to coat evenly. Cover and marinate for at least 6 hours or overnight for the best flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or broiler to high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the steak on the grill or under the broiler for about 6-7 minutes per side until you reach an internal temperature of 130-135°F for medium rare.
  5. Once cooked, cover with aluminum foil and let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
