  • 1 box of puff pastry dough (2 sheets), thawed
  • 1 8-ounce block of cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice, freshly squeezed or bottled
  • Lime zest from one whole lime
  • 21/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Fresh blueberries, rinsed and dried
  • Fresh strawberries, stems removed and cut in half
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter, for brushing
  • Sanding sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface, cut into rounds, and score lightly.
  3. In a stand mixer, blend cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, lime juice, zest, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Place two tablespoons of the mixture on each pastry round; top half with blueberries and half with strawberries.
  5. Bake for 15-16 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool before serving.
