  • 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional)

Instructions

  1. Press tofu between paper towels for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the tofu with soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until well coated.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sauté broccoli for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, cook marinated tofu for 5-7 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Add minced garlic during the last minute of cooking. Return broccoli to the skillet along with rice vinegar and brown sugar; stir for another minute until heated through.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
