  • 70 g strawberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200 g strawberries (finely diced)
  • 7 strawberries (halved for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry filling by cooking strawberries with sugar and water until jam-like; let cool.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, combine melted butter, oil, sugars, and eggs; gradually incorporate milk.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients without overmixing.
