- 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts (diced)
- 1 lbs turkey sausage links (sliced)
- 1/2 onion (diced)
- 1 red bell pepper (diced)
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 2 stalks celery (sliced)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp cajun seasoning
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 3 cups cooked rice
- Prepare all ingredients by dicing the vegetables and slicing the turkey sausage.
- In the slow cooker, combine diced chicken, sliced turkey sausage, onion, bell peppers, celery, minced garlic, crushed tomatoes, cajun seasoning, oregano, and chicken broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked.
