  • 2 ½ oz freshly squeezed orange juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the whole orange pieces (rind included but seeds removed), eggs, yogurt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder; mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture while mixing gently. Fold in the softened butter until combined.
  5. Pour in the freshly squeezed orange juice and stir until fully incorporated.
  6. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and bake for approximately 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cooling in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
