  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan Reggiano cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt ½ tablespoon butter. Sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant, then add lobster and crab meat; cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked seafood, cream cheese, ½ cup mozzarella, salt, and pepper; mix until smooth.
  3. Cook jumbo shells according to package instructions; drain and cool slightly before filling.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and stir in flour to create a roux; gradually whisk in heavy cream until smooth. Add Parmesan and remaining mozzarella until creamy.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a layer of cheese sauce in a baking dish. Stuff each shell with seafood mixture and place in the dish. Pour remaining sauce over shells.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes; uncover and bake another 10 minutes until bubbly.
