  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (50g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup (100ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (110ml) milk
  • 1 3/4 cups (230g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (85g) pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, vegetable oil, sugars, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cooling before drizzling with a mixture of powdered sugar and maple syrup.
