  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder (for brownie mix)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (for brownie mix)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for brownie mix)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine creamy peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt to the peanut butter mixture; stir until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix melted butter, white sugar, cocoa powder, and egg until smooth for the brownie dough.
  5. Add vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt to the brownie mixture; fold in chocolate chips.
  6. On the prepared baking sheet, place tablespoons of both doughs and swirl together gently using a toothpick.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers appear slightly underbaked.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
