  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • Heavy-duty aluminum foil (enough for 4 packets)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Divide into four equal portions and shape into patties.
  2. Cut four pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil about 12 inches long. Lightly grease the center of each piece with olive oil.
  3. Place one burger patty on each foil piece and top with sliced mushrooms and Swiss cheese.
  4. Fold the foil over the burger and toppings tightly to seal each packet.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook packets on the grill for 15-20 minutes or bake for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Check for doneness; burger should reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). Allow to cool slightly before unwrapping.
