  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 Mandarin pancakes or flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and vegetarian oyster sauce; set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add thinly sliced chicken; cook until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Stir-fry shredded cabbage, sliced mushrooms, shredded carrots, sliced green onions, and bamboo shoots for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to skillet; pour sauce mixture over everything. Stir well to coat; cook an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot with warm pancakes or tortillas for wrapping.
