  • 2 medium apples (peeled, cored, diced)
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 package premade pie dough (contains 2 crusts)
  • 1 beaten egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp milk or water (for egg wash)
  • Additional coarse brown sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples with brown sugar and spices. Stir in butter and set aside.
  3. Roll out the pie dough and cut circles for the mini pies.
  4. Place dough circles in greased muffin tins and fill with apple mixture.
  5. Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse brown sugar.
  6. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
