  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the apples, sugars, cinnamon, flour, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut into circles (4-5 inches in diameter).
  4. Place half of the circles on a baking sheet and add apple filling to each.
  5. Cover with remaining circles, seal edges with a fork, and cut slits on top for steam.
  6. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow cooling slightly before serving.
