  • 1 large lime (juiced)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • cilantro lime rice
  • corn salsa or charred corn
  • sautéed onions and peppers
  • guacamole
  • cheese (cotija, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack)
  • pico de gallo
  • shredded lettuce
  • pickled red onions
  • pickled jalapeños
  • cilantro ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak by mixing avocado oil, Mexicali seasoning, and lime juice in a bowl. Coat the steak evenly and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for 4–5 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached. Let it rest before slicing.
  3. Sauté onions and peppers until soft in a separate skillet.
  4. Assemble bowls starting with cilantro lime rice as the base, then layer on steak slices, sautéed vegetables, corn salsa, guacamole, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, pickled onions, jalapeños, cheese, and drizzle with cilantro ranch.
