  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 stalks scallions (minced)
  • 1 Korean red pepper (sliced)
  • 1 serrano pepper (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Soft boil the eggs in salted water with vinegar for 6 minutes (room temperature) or 7 minutes (from the fridge).
  2. Cool the eggs in an ice bath for about 10 minutes before peeling.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, garlic, scallions, and peppers.
  4. Place peeled eggs in an airtight container and pour the marinade over them. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  5. Serve over rice or as a savory snack.
