  • 1 oz (30 ml) Lemon Verbena Syrup
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 3 oz (90 ml) Sparkling Apple Cider (or Dry Prosecco)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Soda Water
  • 3 to 4 Fresh Lemon Verbena Leaves
  • Ice Cubes
  • Lemon Slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lemon Verbena Syrup by simmering equal parts water and sugar with lemon verbena leaves for about 5 minutes. Allow it to cool and strain.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, mix the syrup, fresh lemon juice, and torn lemon verbena leaves.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice, then gently pour in the sparkling apple cider and soda water.
  5. Stir lightly and garnish with a slice of lemon and lemon verbena sprig.
