  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, melted butter, and salt until crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping.
  2. Press the remaining mixture into an 8×8-inch baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar (1 cup), flour (1/4 cup), lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
  4. Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust and sprinkle reserved crumb mixture on top.
