  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon dried chives
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes, then cool in cold water.
  3. Grease a casserole dish and layer the blanched broccoli at the bottom.
  4. Season chicken with garlic, parsley, chives, dill weed, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook seasoned chicken until no longer pink (about 7-10 minutes).
  6. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 30 seconds.
  7. Place cooked chicken over the broccoli in the casserole dish.
  8. In the same skillet, combine heavy whipping cream and whisk to deglaze.
  9. Cook until slightly thickened; stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted.
  10. Pour cheese mixture over chicken and broccoli; mix gently.
  11. Top with remaining cheddar cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, and grated Parmesan.
  12. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  13. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
