  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee powder
  • 24 ounces brick-style cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate
  • hot water (for the waterbath)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) or adjust to 325°F (170°C) for convection.
  2. Prepare a 9-inch springform pan by wrapping it in aluminum foil.
  3. Combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, and instant coffee powder; mix well.
  5. Pour filling over crust and bake in a water bath for about 60 minutes or until slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Let cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
