Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  4. Gently fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in diced peaches carefully.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55–60 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, melted butter, diced peaches, and vanilla extract until smooth; add cream if necessary for consistency.
  9. Once cooled completely, spread glaze over the bread before slicing.
