  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup dark cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie ingredients: sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla until just mixed.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Add dollops of cheesecake mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife. Pour remaining brownie batter over it and swirl again.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool before slicing.
