  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 tsp minced ginger
  • 6 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 12 oz linguine noodles
  • Green onions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, brown the ground beef with ginger and garlic until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook linguine noodles as per package instructions.
  3. Mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and hoisin sauce in a small bowl. Add to the skillet with cooked beef.
  4. Sauté for about three minutes until flavors meld.
  5. Transfer boiled noodles to the skillet, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional couple of minutes to thicken the sauce.
  6. Garnish with diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
