  • ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms or candy-coated chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the Easter candies.
  7. Scoop dollops of dough onto prepared baking sheets, pressing remaining candies on top for decoration.
  8. Bake for about 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden and centers remain soft.
  9. Let cool on the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
