  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • Powdered sugar (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (191°C) and spray a 9-inch round baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Unroll several cinnamon rolls and arrange them in a spiral to fill the dish.
  3. Halve and core the apples, then slice into thin pieces.
  4. Toss apple slices with lemon juice in a large bowl to coat.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar, then add to the apple slices and gently stir.
  6. Microwave apple slices for about 2 minutes until pliable; strain excess liquid.
  7. Arrange about 8 apple slices overlapping slightly and roll them into rose shapes.
  8. Place the apple roses in the center of the cinnamon roll spiral and fill gaps with remaining apples.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving.
