  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 ounces chocolate almond bark
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • ½ of 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ teaspoon mint extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Press your thumb into each ball to create a well.
  5. Bake for about 12 minutes; if thumbprints flatten, re-press after removing from the oven.
  6. Allow cookies to cool slightly before adding the fudge filling made from melted white chocolate chips mixed with sweetened condensed milk and mint extract.
