  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 green onions (sliced) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, black pepper, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add cubed beef to the marinade and toss until evenly coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Spread marinated beef on the baking sheet and sprinkle with sugar.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Optionally broil for an additional crispiness for 3-4 minutes.
