  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 can kidney beans (drained)
  • 2 cups macaroni (uncooked)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon each: salt/pepper
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
  2. Add diced onions, bell peppers, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in chili seasoning mix, tomato paste, sauces, broth, and kidney beans; simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook macaroni in boiling salted water until al dente; drain.
  5. In a separate saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour to create a roux. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and milk until smooth, then add spices and cheese until melted.
