  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (optional)
  • 2½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 pound mixed vegetables of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, peeled and minced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine sliced chicken, water, salt, baking soda, and cornstarch. Mix well and marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. For the sauce, whisk together vinegar (if using), water, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  3. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat with oil. Cook marinated chicken until browned (5-7 minutes), then set aside.
