  • 500g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat and add the chicken; cook until golden brown (5-7 mins), then remove.
  3. In the same wok, stir-fry onions and garlic for 1 minute; add broccoli and mushrooms for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Return chicken to the pan; mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and optional chili flakes.
  5. Add cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce; serve hot over steamed rice.
