  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and dry the apples. Core each apple, leaving the bottom intact, and drizzle lemon juice inside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt; mix well.
  4. Fold in sour cream, crushed graham crackers, and nuts (if using).
  5. Fill each apple with the cheesecake mixture.
  6. Place filled apples in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 25–30 minutes until tender, then uncover and bake for another 10–15 minutes to brown the tops slightly.
