  • 1/4 cup olive oil for chili oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-low heat, combine olive oil and butter. Add thinly sliced onions and a pinch of salt. Cook for 25-30 minutes until golden-brown, stirring occasionally.
  2. Meanwhile, boil salted water in a pot and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
