  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear seasoned steak tips for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and milk, stirring in cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with sauce and mix well.
