  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak until browned on all sides, then set aside.
  3. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and gently simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted smoothly into the sauce. Adjust seasoning as desired.
  6. Toss cooked rigatoni with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water gradually for desired consistency. Fold in seared steak tips.
