Ingredients
Scale
1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon apple vinegar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
2 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple vinegar
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1 lb broccoli (cut into bite-sized pieces)
5 garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 tablespoon ginger (minced)
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
Instructions
Marinate the beef: Combine sliced beef with baking soda, apple vinegar, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, white pepper, water, and cornstarch in a bowl. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare the stir-fry sauce: Mix oyster sauce, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, apple vinegar, sugar, chicken broth, and cornstarch in a separate bowl.
Blanch the broccoli: Boil water with salt, add broccoli for 1-2 minutes, then drain.
Cook the beef: Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat and sear the marinated beef for about 30 seconds on each side.
Stir-fry everything: In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add broccoli and cooked beef along with the stir-fry sauce; toss until thickened.
Serve hot with a drizzle of toasted sesame oil on top.
