  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 12 chillies
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • Fresh prawns (about 1 pound)
  • Fresh lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh crusty bread for dipping in the sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your BBQ grill by lighting charcoal until it's white hot.
  2. In a pan, combine olive oil, grated garlic, finely sliced chillies, lemon juice, and zest. Heat gently for about 2 minutes.
  3. Marinate cleaned prawns in half of the olive oil mixture for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Grill prawns on high heat for approximately 1 minute per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Drizzle remaining marinade over grilled prawns before serving.
