  • 3 Tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • ½ cup fig preserves
  • ½ cup raw pecans (chopped)
  • ½ tsp fresh thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Toast the pecans in a small skillet over medium heat for about 1 to 3 minutes until crunchy. Mix the toasted pecans with fig preserves in a bowl.
  3. Place the feta in an oven-safe dish; drizzle with avocado oil and sprinkle with oregano and black pepper.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Lower the temperature to 350°F, top with the fig mixture, and bake for another 12–17 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh thyme before serving warm.
