Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Add diced apples.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared sheet. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze; drizzle over cooled fritters.
