  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (133 g)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped apples (100 g)
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans (53 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small pan, toast the pecans until fragrant; set aside.
  3. Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces.
  4. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy; add the egg and mix well.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in the mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in apples and pecans gently.
