  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the prepared dish and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans and pour over the crust.
  6. Bake for an additional 30–35 minutes until set and golden on top.
